The Local Key — Refund Policy

This policy covers advertising space purchased through localkeyads.ca or under a signed Local Key Advertising Contract.

Cancelling Your Ad
Cancellations must be submitted in writing to ads@localkey.ca.
More than 30 days before your ad's distribution date: full refund of any amount paid.
15–30 days before distribution: 50% refund of any amount paid.
Less than 15 days before distribution: no refund.
If Your Artwork Doesn't Arrive in Time
If you chose to submit artwork later rather than upload it right away, and it hasn't reached us by the deadline provided at checkout, we'll cancel the order and refund whatever's been paid — the same protection as above, just triggered by a missed deadline instead of a cancellation request.
Distribution Delays Outside Our Control
If a Canada Post service interruption — including a strike — delays distribution, we won't issue a refund. Your issue will still distribute according to Canada Post's own obligations once service resumes.
If We're the Ones Who Fall Short
If we're unable to publish and distribute your ad within 21 days of the agreed distribution date, we'll refund your advertising fee in full — no cancellation request needed on your end.
Design Mockups and Quotes
Requesting a design mockup carries no charge and no obligation. Nothing is billed until you see your quote and choose to move forward, so there's nothing to refund at that stage.
